Waring Director’s Award for Chorus Wall Plaque

$117.00

Description

Fred Waring (1900-1984) was one of the leading choral directors of the 20th century. He composed and arranged music, and his choral group, The Pennsylvanians, spread the popularity of singing. The award recognizes the talent and enthusiasm of outstanding choral members.

Beginning in 2016, we will send the traditional Director’s Award for Chorus unless a director requests the Waring format. The Fred Waring Director’s Award for Chorus is still available in limited quantities.

The beautiful walnut Wall Plaque (10 1⁄2″ x 13″) hangs in the school to inspire students and generate enthusiasm. The award can be given as a junior high school award or in high schools as a runner-up to the National School Choral Award. Quantities are not restricted.

Note: If you are presenting this award at your school, you must give the official student award to the winner(s).
